About the Journal

Tahqeeqi Jareeda is a bi-annual Research Journal of Urdu Language & Literature. It is a bi-lingual, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access publication meticulously curated by the esteemed Department of Urdu at GC Women University in Sialkot, Pakistan, since January 2017.

Tahqeeqi Jareeda, the Urdu Research Journal, aspires to serve as an inclusive platform that fosters the exchange of high-quality research amongst researchers, faculty members, and students. Dedicated to elevating the discourse within the realms of Urdu Language, Linguistics, and Literature, our mission is to encourage scholarly engagement, cultivate modern research methodologies, and facilitate the dissemination of knowledge regarding Urdu Language & Literature, Cultuer and Civilization. We are committed to nurturing a diverse range of research papers that encompass literary and linguistic exploration, critical editing, and contemporary criticism. Our unwavering dedication extends to promoting the interconnections between Urdu and other languages and their literary landscapes. Furthermore, we proudly embrace research that delves into the teaching of local and international languages, along with their corresponding literature, as integral components of the curriculum in Pakistan.
