Abstract

"Jhok Sial" is a vital novel written on the problems of the rural life. In
this novel Syed Shabir Hussain depicts a beautiful picture of the
exploitation of the poor people by the personnel of police and
revenue department. In the following article it has mentioned how the
poor people are compelled to bribe and 'Munshi' of the land lord who
is the tout of government personnel files the pockets of these
personnel with threading behavior. The plaintiff with the accused
person has to fill the pockets of the police personnel in this society.
