Extinct of Genre Literature "Maktoob Nigari"

Abstract

There are several genres in Urdu literature which are indebted to
other languages. Various writers, poets and other political and
religious celebrities have raised the banner of success in the field of
these literary kinds. With the passage of time, many literary kinds
were diminished and number of their authors declined. These genres
include Anecdote, letter writing, essays, diary writing and bounded
poems. In this article, we will take a brief look at the extinct literary
genres (Anecdote, essay, dairy writing and bound poem). In addition,
a special review on letter writing as extinct genre will be taken.
