Khwaja Imam Bakhsh Maharvi (RA) was the grand son of Hazrat Khwaja Noor Muhammad Maharvi (RA) and a renowned sufi of chishtia nizamia order. He was born in 1242 AH. His father name was Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Farid (RA). His allegiance was to Hazrat Maulana Khuda Bakhsh Khairpuri (RA), who was the Caliph-e-Azam of Hazrat Khwaja Hafiz Muhammad Jamal Multani (RA). He wrote books on the subject of Sufism in which Panjganj is a collection of teachings of the Chishtia order. Diwan Ajiz is a diwan containing his poetry. Maktoobat e maharvi discusses various topics of Islamic truths and knowledge and divine mysteries. Makhzan Chisht is an echo of the achievements of the poets of the Chisht lineage. Gulshan-e-Abrar is a reliable compilation about the life and deeds of Hazrat Qiblah Noor Muhammad Maharvi (RA).
