Bashir Saif ki Haiko Nigari

Abstract

Mr. Bashir Saifi is a trendsetter Haiku poet. He played a vital
role in introduction of Haiku to Urdu. He rendered formidable
services in this regard. He is a full-fledged poet. He led Haiku to its
culmination with his critical insight and poetic skills. His collection
of Haiku "Guftaar" and "Dhoop sey Khali din" have been published.
The themes of his Haiku are the simple experiences and observations
of life. Also, his Haiku speaks about the varying facts of life. We find
a variety of subjects in his Haiku. The research paper under study
intends to discuss Mr. Bashir Saifi's Haiku and its subjects.
