Abstract

In the twentieth century, women have played a vital role in
Urdu literature, especially in writing poetry. They have a clear impact
on poetry, as their main topic of concern has also been 'woman'.
These poetesses have beautifully depicted the social issues of the
women in a very wise way. A woman knows a woman very well, so,
the poetesses have written their poetry that shows the demands of the
women in the modern era like equality with the men, their efforts and
role in the development of the country and their urge to participate in
the progress and prosperity of the nation. They have also covered the
social issues and problems faced by the woman in this society. In this
way, this poetry is a clear reflection of women's problems.
