Abstract

After the creation of Pakistan, many scholars started writing
fiction and Ishfaque Ahmad is one of the great writers of that age. His
writings are unique and distinctive. He was a fiction writer, dramatist,
story-teller, and has great interest in Punjabi literature. His writings
provide a very vast and fresh perspective of life. He is realistic writer
and clearly presents the political and social realities of his era. This
article discusses the social and political awareness in writings and
how we can benefit from them to make our lives better
