Riaz Hussain Choudry: Na’at -poet

Abstract

Riaz Hussain Choudry was born in Sialkot in 1941.He is
legendry and reknown poet of Urdu Naat. Although, in start, he wrote
many poems and Ghazals yet he got reputation in the poetry of Naat.
He also got a presidential award in 2006 on writing a book of Naat
named "Rizkay Sanna ". He wrote 10 collections of Naat. His book of
naat "Tamannay Hazoori"was the last longest poem of 20th century.
His naats were written in the form of lyric, Ghazal and free verse
