Analytical study of the short stories of Waqar Bin Illahi

Abstract

Waqar Bin Illahi is one of the short story writers of his age who has
been striving hard for more than half a century to show his writing
skills. He has a deep insight into social issues. He has felt the pain of
different classes of society and has made them a part of his creative
expressions with full artistic integrity. He has touched upon almost
all the major issues of his society. Some of his writings unveil some
bitter truths and expose the distasteful picture that is hidden from
many. His pen touches upon various topics very skilfully. Among
these are included the topics that portray human relationships and
social bonds. After contemplating his writings, it can be said without
a doubt that he has beautifully rendered the social inadequacies that
we encounter in our lives at every step. On the priority topics, his
stories highlight the theme of literature for the sake of life and the
significance of his approach can be seen under such short stories.
