Aesthetic sense of Mairasi Aness, Acritical Analysis

Abstract

This poem written to commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam
Hussain (R.A) and the battle of Karbala is called Marsiya. The
Marsia will only have a deeper meaning as long as its words are
attractive and developed. Meer Anis excels in aesthetic the same
when it comes to contribue in this genre.He has been compared with
Shakespeare.Shakespeare creates imaginary plots and characters so
beautifully that they appear real to the reader; Anis narrates events
and characters fossilized in history so vividly that they become alive
in the eyes of his audience. His contribution in the genre of Marisa is
a great example for his predecessors and he excels in his unique style
of writing.
