Analysis of the Criticism of “Fasana-e-Ajaib”

Abstract

Rajab Ali Baig's first composition, "Fasana-e-Ajaib", has laid the
basis of Urdu prose. It keeps a distinguished fame and place in
literary fiction. While analyzing the writing style of "Fasana-eAjaib", critics have declared the colorful expression in the production
of poetry and prose to be the distinguished characteristic among the
other qualities of Saroor's writing. Keeping Dabistan-e-Lucknow in
consideration, they have declared "Fasana-e-Ajaib" the true reflection
of Eastern civilization and culture, social norms and beliefs, and
religious dogmas. Critics have also done the cultural analysis of this
masterpiece. And they have appraised the rules and regulations of
story writing in it with an objective approach as well. This work has
faced such diverse experiences of criticism, both positive and
negative, that no other fiction in Urdu literature would have such
