The Role of Punjab Police in The Promotion of Urdu Literature

Abstract

Police is an organized and second largest force after armed forces of
Pakistan. The most delighted duty of police is to maintain law and
order in the country. Police combat with organized and un-organized
crimes likewise, theft, fraud, dacoity, cheating and terrorist activities.
The sole responsibility of police is to protect human lives and their
properties. In line of duty thousand copes embraced martyred from all
ranks of police, police officials/officers not only severed humanity,
its also render service for the propagation of Urdu literature. Like
other institutions, Punjab Police officers and employees also made a
name for themselves in various genres of literature (poetry and prose)
by playing their part in the promotion of the national language Urdu.
