Abstract

Qazi Abdul Wadood (1896-1984) was a prominent Urdu researcher
of 20th century. His distinguished trait is to introduce the western
pattern of research in. He endowed himself for literary research and
remained undaunted, unbaised and rational in his research papers. He
spent his Urdu whole life in the furtherance of problem based
research. His work exceeds 400 research articles. In his papers he
emphasized on exactness and also rectified pieces of literary
information in his distinct equitable scientific style. "Meer" "Taayyan
e zaman" "zaban shanasi" "Awara gard ashaar" "Shora k tazkary" and
"jahan e Ghalib" was his pivitol series of research papers. In this
