Abstract

Mulana Zafar Ali khan started his writing journey as a translator.
He made scholarly and literary translations from Western literature
The prose of these translations is very enjoyable and heartwarming,
and the style is not dull and dry. His style of expression in scholarly
writings is based upon reason and logic, in literary subjects, his prose
is full of hymns and enthusiasm though his style in literary subjects
is romantic, yet it is not permanent. He was well versed in choosing
appropriate words, well aware of the needs of the art of essay writing
and has mastery over various styles of writing. The characteristic of
his journalistic writings is clarity and simplicity one of the main
colors of his style of expression is rhetoric. In a nutshell, his style is
not one-sided and static, but it is very diverse.
