Concept of "Mother "in Short Stories of Ahmad Nadem Qasmi and Hayyat Ullah Ansari

Abstract

The progressive movement holds a pronounced position in the field
of Urdu Literature. This movement was majorly grounded on the
enormous facets of communism, collectivism, politics and scientific
mentality and has strongly affected Urdu Literature particularly the
discipline of Novels and fiction. The area of fiction in Urdu
Literature has been influenced by innumerable inclinations ranging
from the inception of Urdu Literature extended to the early formative
period. A manifesto of illustrious writers in the field of progressive
Fiction contributed to Urdu Literature. The distinguished writers in
the field of progressive, Hayattullah Ansari and Ahmad Nadeem
Qasmi, depicted the collective issues, dilemmas, realities as well as
social and moral complications, feudal exposition, and oppression of
people in the contemporary society and the uprising reactions against
those upheavals. The Stories written by the dominant literary figures
embody characters that reflect the impregnable creative dispositions
and tendencies of their creators. The mother has been revered and
esteemed in the course of human history as a goddess. The role of the
mother has been manifested as an absolute feminism voice. The
Fiction writers associated with the Progressive Movement have
portrayed all the shades of the role of a mother with regard to
civilization and culture .Hayattullah Ansari portrayed mother as a symbol in which human values breathe. Similarly, Ahmad Nadeem
Qasmi paints the character of mother plunged in affection, dripping
love and a natural passion of sincerity that has been cooked on a mild
flame of self-sacrifice. This proposed study aims to unravel the
immeasurable dimensions of the role of mother in the well-known
literary works of the fiction writers. Similarly, this Study focuses to
investigate the personal and artistic lives of the famous Fiction
writers caused by the role of mother. The researcher also aims to
unknot the impact of mothers in the creative journey of these Fiction
writers.
