Abstract

Yaqoob Nizami is a renowned Pakistani Kashmiri writer. As a
travelogist he focuses on depicting the entirety of an object with
historical touch, rather than just the external object. He definitely
demonstrates his historical awareness while depicting the past. There
is no doubt that history is an integral part of travelogues;
nevertheless, when historical events are combined with the
externality of the objects, history becomes literature and a new
perspective on history emerges.In his travelogue “Muqadas
Sarzameen” Yaqood Nizami deftly handles this facet of history. He is
constantly in touch with history. He highlighted all the events those
related with the construction and destruction of Kaba’a and the life of
last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).
