Abstract

The tragedy of the past and the migration are two major and
important themes in Intizar Hussein's fiction. The man in his fiction is
a person who is blind and mentally handicapped without a past. The
issues of migration, remembrance, and settlement at the spiritual and
material level in the new land are basic topics of his entire literary
work. In Intizar Hussain's fiction, man is a living symbol of many
eras. Main purpose of this article is to highlight the issues of
migration, connection with past, settlement in new dream land, which
