Historical Fallacy about Start of Short Story Writing by Dr.Rasheed Amjad

Abstract

Dr.Rasheed Amjad is a well known Urdu fiction writer of modern
Era. He is one of the top personalities who has promoted Urdu short
story intellectually and technically on modern grounds. That is why
modern Urdu short story discussion remains incomplete without his
name. In this article, by selecting his first two short stories, it is
determined his very first short story published in “Rooman” ( a semifilm and semi-literary magazine) and also has been tried to point out
and rectify a misunderstanding about his first short story published in
famous Urdu literary magazine “Adb e Latif” that has become a
historical fallacy.
