Abstract

Many types of column writing have been practiced in Balochistan. Especially literary, political and economic columns. In the same way humorous columns came in view in Darooniyat. Although its mood and atmosphere remained satirical in general in which predominant impression of sloppy humor is the reason for not being able to love, the reason is the blunt expression of author's mood. However, Darooniyat appears to achieve its goals overall for which it was composed. its aim was to change the political scene of Balochistan into public welfare. There is no denying the literary status of Darooniyat under urdu columnism in Balochistan. it was the only column of its kind which published continuously from june 8, 1936 to july 13, 1936.
