Abstract

This article is a comparative study of three famous authors Dr. Wazir Agha (18 May,1922_8 September, 2010) Nazir Saddiqui (7 November ,1930_12 April, 2001)and Mashkoor Hussain Yad (11 september,1925_11 november, 2017).The method, style and opinions of these authors were compared and analyzed ,the  study found every writer  possesses  his own style ,and subjects to portray in his Inshaeyas. Dr. Wazir Agha served a lot for the development of Inshaeya in Urdu literature. He believed that there was absence of essayist in Urdu literature and he also made the elements and ingredients that make or form an Inshaeya. For a long time the boundaries of humor, satire and Inshaeya could not be set. One piece of writing would have all the three forms blended in it .Amidst all this appeared Dr. Wazir Agha as an Inshaeya writer who very aptly defined the categorical boundaries of Inshaeya. Satire and humor are the prominent elements of Nazir Saddiqui’s Inshaeya whereas Mashkoor Hussain Yad adopted philosophical and serious approach of writing in his early days, thus two different styles prevailed, but later on sarcasm and satire dominated over philosophy and serious way of writing in Mashkoor Hussain Yad ‘methodology of Inshaeya.Later on both the writers adopted same method and style of writing. So, many critics denied their status as an Inshaeya Nigar but Dr. Saleem Akhter defended their style. According to Saleem akhter The Inshaeya of Mashkoor Hussain yaad and Nazir Saddiqui has also the necessary ingredients and elements. Mashkoor Hussain yaad and Nazir Saddiqui have distinctive and individual style of Inshaeya as they include satire and humor as a basic part of an Inshaeya. So it leads us to the conclusion that their style does have the quality of an Inshaeya.
