Abstract

Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi is one of the most important creators in Urdu
poetry after Iqbal. He acquired importance as a poet of ghazal and
especially among progressive poets, like Faiz Ahmed Faiz, left no
stone unturned to promote ghazal along with nazm. That is why the
study of his ghazals is very important and determining his distinctive
identity among contemporaries will guide the students of literature.
